"HIP4KIDS"
GOURMET CHOCOLATE "HIP" COOKIES MAKES SNACKING GOOD
FOR YOU !
Snacking perfection
has arrived: a great tasting gourmet cookie that's
nutritious too. Hospitality Industry Professionals
for Kids ("HIP4KIDS") has created the first healthy
and delightful Chocolate "HIP" Cookie that tastes
great and has the highest Omega three food product
available in "cookiedom." This delicious treat will
remind people of their favorite childhood cookie
memory.
"HIP4KIDS," a
not-for-profit educational program, was founded to
teach children about healthy lifestyles to combat
childhood obesity and type II diabetes. The
Chocolate "HIP" Cookie was initially developed as a
"safe" snack for kids and is the first product
available through HIP World Foods (www.hipsnacks.com).
The Chocolate "HIP"
Cookie contains ingredients like non--enriched
unbleached wheat flour, brown sugar, palm oil,
chocolate chips and "salvia Hispanic" which is
better known as "chia," an organic plant with
abundant nutritional benefits. The "HIP" Cookie is
the first chia-enriched cookie produced worldwide.
Chia, in the right proportions, helps eliminate the
onset symptoms of type II diabetes when eaten at the
correct frequency.
Each Chocolate "HIP"
Cookie contains high levels of amino acids and
antioxidants-ounce for ounce every cookie contains
seven times more iron than spinach, 15 times more
magnesium than broccoli, six times more calcium than
milk and has a full day's supply of Omega three, six
and nine. There's also 50% more folate than is found
in asparagus and 30 times the antioxidants found in
blueberries. Foods made with chia supplies high
levels of fiber and protein, are naturally rich in
Omega 3, 6 and 9 and are super rich in antioxidants
and amino acids, Chef Christopher Daly calls this
"forgotten food" an organic super food and urges
consumers to explore the incredible health benefits
about the consumption of Chia. It's great for your
heart, blood pressure and brain function to name
just a few benefits.
The Chocolate "HIP"
Cookie is presently available in New York City at
Macy's Herald Square, George's Gourmet Shop and
select Upper West Side shops. Cookies can be sent
anywhere in the United States by visiting
www.hipsnacks.com. The baking and Cookie
fulfillment is done at Hudson Valley Food Works in
The Hudson Valley, a not-for-profit incubator
creating jobs for New York's Mid-Hudson Region.
HIPSNACKS.COM (www.hipsnacks.com)
is the source for fun foods with a healthful kick.
The new product line will include multiple other
cookie flavors and other nutritious foods specially
created for diabetics. All after tax profits of
HIPSNACKS.COM go to benefit the educational programs
of HIP4KIDS, Inc. the nine-year old nationally
renowned not-for-profit educational company
dedicated to teaching kids and their care givers
healthy ways of eating and much more through
community "cooks hops" and integrated multimedia
programs. HIP4KIDS helps combat childhood obesity,
