HIP4KIDS is committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of visitors to and users of the SITE. We use the contact information you provide us to provide or enhance our service to you. We use payment information for payment processing purposes only. We create and maintain other information such as customer account status, choice of services, and/or customer logs in the normal course of providing service to visitors and users of the SITE. HIP4KIDS may share customer information with selected partners/third parties, for example, to provide you with information about products which might be of interest to you or to enable you to take advantage of special partner programs. HIP4KIDS may also use customer information to provide customers with system information or information about new or upgraded products. You may instruct us at any time not to share your personal information with third parties by sending us an email message at: privacy@hip4kids.org and upon our receipt of such instructions your information will only be shared to the extent necessary to provide service to you pursuant to your use of the SITE.

We will not otherwise disclose a customer’s personal and account information unless we have reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to identify, make contact with, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing harm or interfering with the rights or property of HIP4KIDS, our customers or others, or where HIP4KIDS has a good faith belief that the law requires such disclosure.

HIP4KIDS also will not, except for reasons stated below, disclose to third parties the contents of any electronic mail or other electronic communications that HIP4KIDS stores or transmits for its customers. The circumstances under which HIP4KIDS will disclose such electronic customer communications are when: it helps us to provide service to the customer; it is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of HIP4KIDS or its users; it is required to cooperate with court orders, warrants or other legal process that HIP4KIDS determines in its sole discretion to be valid and enforceable; or it is necessary to provide to a law enforcement agency when the contents appear to pertain to the commission of a crime. HIP4KIDS disclaims any intention to censor, edit or engage in ongoing review or surveillance of communications stored on or transmitted through its facilities by customers or others. HIP4KIDS reserves the right, however, to review, delete or block access to communications that may harm HIP4KIDS, its customers or third parties. The grounds on which HIP4KIDS may take such action include, but are not limited to, actual or potential violations of the TERMS.

Customers may opt out of receiving newsletters and/or notices of new or upgraded products from HIP4KIDS by sending a request to privacy@hip4kids.org. In this request, customers must identify their contact information.

Despite our reasonable precautions to protect your information from loss, misuse or alteration, you should recognize that, while it is reported to be more secure to process credit card purchases through Internet systems than many other traditional means, there is no such thing as "perfect security" on the Internet. To help us protect your privacy, you should maintain the secrecy of any password you set up in registering for the HIP4KIDS’s service or making purchases on the SITE.

To enhance your experience with the SITE, our server may use "cookies" to store users preferences. Cookies are messages sent between HIP4KIDS and your browser, which are saved as text files on your computer. Cookies, by themselves, do not tell us your e-mail address or other personally identifiable information unless you choose to provide this information to us by, for example, requesting email information or additional information. However, once you choose to furnish the SITE with personally identifiable information, this information may be linked to the data stored in cookies.) Users may customize their browsers to not accept cookies; however, without cookies enabled, users may not be able to experience personalized visits to the SITE or subscribe to service offerings on the SITE.

The terms of this policy will govern the use and any information collected while it is in place. HIP4KIDS reserves the right to change this policy at any time by posting revisions on the SITE. Changes to this privacy policy will be effective at the time they are posted to the SITE. This privacy policy is not intended to, and does not, create any contractual or other legal rights in or on behalf of any party.
